How Tovara came to be
Tovara began with a very simple observation in our own kitchens: hardly any pan truly lasts. The cheap non-stick pan bubbles after a few months. The expensive stainless steel pan is rarely used because everything sticks to it. The heavy pot from the last move ends up at the back of the cupboard.
We – a small team of passionate home cooks, product developers, and material specialists – asked ourselves why there was so little cookware that you enjoy using every day. The honest answer was: good pans are often either too expensive for everyday use or too poor to really bring joy.
This is precisely where Tovara comes in. We develop cookware for people who cook themselves – not for display cabinets, not for marketing catalogs. But for the pan that prepares breakfast every morning and ends up back on the hob in the evening, not in the bin.
Why "Tovara"?
The name Tovara is inspired by the idea of a reliable companion. That's exactly what our cookware should be: a tool that grows with you, that you know, that you trust – year after year.
Our Mission
We want cooking to be fun again. Pans and pots should be tools that simply work – not sources of daily frustration. This leads to four specific promises for us:
